Planning and Publishing Posts

Planner is where you plan, schedule, publish, and track TikTok posts and Instagram Reels in one place. Each row is an independent publishing record with its own video, settings, status, and result.

Creative work such as topics, scripts, and Summary stays in My Projects. Planner starts when you have a finished video to publish.

Overview

Use the tabs at the top to filter publishing records:

Use the Channel filter to show All channels, TikTok, or Instagram records. Use search to find a record by the text shown in its Caption column. The list also shows:

• Post — the video's cover or thumbnail; a placeholder is shown when no image is available;
• Caption — the post caption, or the available source video or file name before a caption is saved; an em dash (—) is shown when no display text is available;
• Source — where the post was started, such as AI Studio, Assets, or Planner;
• Channel — TikTok or Instagram;
• Publish Time — the scheduled or actual publish time;
• Status and Status Message — the current stage and what happens next; and
• Action — the next available operation.

When more information is available, a record can also show its scheduled time, actual publish time, and published link.

Steps:

1. Open Planner.
2. Filter records with All, Draft, Processing, Publish Issue, or Published.
3. Use Search to find a record by the text currently shown in Caption.
4. Review Post, Caption, Source, Publish Time, Status, Status Message, and Action.

Path: Bottom navigation → calendar icon

Steps:

1. Tap the calendar icon.
2. Select a date.
3. Review the publishing records for that date.
4. Tap the plus icon to create a plan, or tap the draft icon to open Draft.

The table and list-field descriptions above apply to Fypro on the web.

Starting a post

Use Create Post to start a new publishing flow:

1. Select the finished video you want to publish.
2. Choose TikTok or Instagram.
3. Fypro checks whether the selected channel is connected and whether the video meets that channel's current publishing requirements.
4. Select Go to publish to open a new publishing form.
5. Complete the post settings, then publish now or schedule it.

TikTok and Instagram are authorized independently. If the selected channel is not connected, select Connect TikTok or Connect Instagram and complete authorization first. Connecting one channel does not connect the other.

Instagram publishing requires a connected Instagram professional account and supports Reels only. Photos, carousel posts, Stories, and Live content are not supported in this flow.

Opening a new publishing form does not create a Planner record. If you leave a new form, save it as a Fypro Draft or discard it. A discarded new form creates no Planner record.

You can also start from the Publish action in Assets or AI Studio. When a Planner record is created, its Source is saved and does not change when you continue, schedule, or retry the post.

The same video can be published more than once. Each saved draft or new submission creates a separate Planner record, even if an earlier record is still a Draft, is Processing, has a Publish Issue, or is already Published.

In the Planner list, the selected video's cover appears under Post. The text saved in the publishing form appears under Caption. Until a caption is saved, Planner may use the source video or file name as temporary identifying text.

Steps:

1. Select Create Post, or select Publish from a video action.
2. Choose the video you want to publish.
3. If TikTok is not connected, select Connect TikTok and complete authorization.
4. After the checks pass, select Go to publish.
5. Complete the publishing settings, then publish now or schedule the post.

Steps:

1. Open New publishing plan.
2. Check Publishing account.
3. Select Add video and choose a video.
4. Complete the publishing settings.
5. Select Publish now or Schedule post.

Planner statuses

Planner uses four main statuses. Scheduled, Publishing, and TikTok Inbox appear in the Status Message rather than as extra filter tabs.

Selecting Continue reopens the same Draft with its saved fields. It does not create a duplicate Planner record.

Steps:

1. Open the relevant status tab.
2. Read the record's Status Message.
3. For a Draft, select Continue.
4. For a scheduled Processing record, select Change Schedule when needed.
5. For a Publish Issue, follow the prompt and select Add Published Link or Retry Publish.
6. Published means the post has been confirmed live.

Path: Planner → date → publishing record

Steps:

1. Select a date in the calendar.
2. Check whether the record is Scheduled, Publishing, Published, or Failed.
3. Tap the record to open its details.
4. Follow the current instructions on the details page.

For a scheduled Instagram Reel, select Edit before its publish time to change the schedule. Select Cancel schedule to cancel it and return the record to Draft with its video and settings retained.

Publishing through Fypro

The form reflects the channel you select.

TikTok

The TikTok publishing form includes:

After the video uploads, Fypro automatically generates TikTok caption and hashtag recommendations. The recommendations do not replace your caption until you select one. Use Regenerate if you want a new set.

Select Confirm & Publish to TikTok when everything is ready. Keep the page open while the upload is in progress.

Instagram Reels

The Instagram publishing form includes:

Enter Instagram captions and hashtags directly in the form. Instagram does not show AI caption or hashtag recommendations in this flow.

Select Publish now to review the post and confirm publishing, or select Schedule Publish to choose a future date, time, and time zone. A scheduled Instagram Reel is saved in Fypro Planner, not as an Instagram draft. It does not appear in Instagram until Fypro publishes it at the scheduled time.

What happens next:

• A successful immediate post moves from Processing to Published.
• A scheduled post stays in Processing and shows its scheduled time until Fypro publishes it.
• A TikTok post sent to TikTok Inbox moves to Publish Issue until you finish it in TikTok and add the published link.
• A failed post moves to Publish Issue so you can review it and retry.
• Published Instagram records do not show View Stats, and Planner does not provide Instagram analytics.

Steps:

1. Review Video file, Cover image, Caption, Hashtags, Privacy, Interactions, Publish time, and Disclose content.
2. Select Confirm & Publish to TikTok.
3. Keep the page open while the upload and publishing process runs.
4. Return to Planner to check the final status.

Path: New publishing plan

Steps:

1. Check the publishing account and video.
2. Complete Caption and hashtags.
3. Set Post visibility, Viewer interactions, and Content disclosures.
4. To publish immediately, select Publish now.
5. To schedule, select Schedule post, choose the date and time, and check Time zone.
6. To cancel a schedule, open the record and select Cancel Schedule.

After the app shows Publishing to TikTok, you can leave the page and return to Planner later to check the result.

Resolving publishing issues

Sent to TikTok Inbox (TikTok only)

Open TikTok, finish editing and publish the video there, then return to Planner and select Add Published Link. Paste the final TikTok link to confirm the post as Published. Instagram Reels do not use TikTok Inbox.

Publishing failed

Select Retry Publish to review the selected channel's account connection and post settings, then try again. Follow the Status Message shown on the record.

Fypro filters technical errors before displaying them, so Planner shows a clear next step instead of technical error details.

Scheduled publishing failed

The Status Message shows the failed schedule time. Select Retry Publish to review the post and submit it again. If you no longer want to publish it on the scheduled time, cancel the schedule before it runs to return the record to Draft.

Steps:

1. Read the record's Status Message.
2. If the post was sent to TikTok Inbox, finish publishing it in TikTok.
3. Return to Planner, select Add Published Link, and paste the final link.
4. If publishing failed, select Retry Publish, review the settings, and submit again.

Steps:

1. Open the Failed record.
2. Check the TikTok connection, video, and publishing settings.
3. For a scheduled post, also check the date, time, and Time zone.
4. Follow the details-page instructions to update or resubmit the post.

Planner and My Projects

Planner records are independent from projects in My Projects:

• Creating, scheduling, publishing, retrying, or deleting a Planner record does not change the creative stage shown in My Projects.
• Editing or deleting a project in My Projects does not change an existing Planner record.
• A finished video can have multiple Planner records when it is published more than once.
• You do not need a project in My Projects to create a post in Planner.

2. When the finished video is ready, open Planner.
3. Select Create Post and complete the publishing settings.
4. Track the publishing status in Planner.

Steps:

1. Complete the topic and script in AI chat.
2. Find the video under Me → Assets.
3. Open Planner, or select Publish from the video details.
4. Complete and submit the publishing settings.
5. Return to Planner to check the status.

The Fypro app does not have a My Projects page.

FAQ

Which channels can Planner publish to?

Planner currently supports TikTok posts and Instagram Reels. Instagram publishing is limited to Reels in this flow.

What do I need to publish an Instagram Reel?

Connect an Instagram professional account, select Instagram in the publishing flow, and use a video that meets the Instagram Reel requirements shown above.

Why is there no Planner record after I opened a new form?

Opening a new form does not create a record. Save it as a Draft or submit it to create a Planner record; discard it if you do not want to keep it.

Why does my Draft show Continue instead of Publish?

The Planner record already exists. Continue reopens its saved publishing form so you can finish the same record without creating a duplicate.

Why is a scheduled post shown as Processing?

Processing covers both Scheduled and Publishing records. Read the Status Message for the scheduled time or current publishing progress.

Why is a post in Publish Issue if it was sent to TikTok?

TikTok Inbox is a TikTok-only handoff. Finish publishing in TikTok and return with the final link; the post is not confirmed Published until that step is complete.

Can I change or cancel a scheduled Instagram Reel?

Yes. Before its publish time, select Edit to change the schedule or Cancel schedule to return it to Draft. The video and settings remain saved in Fypro.

Why is there no View Stats button for my Instagram Reel?

Planner does not provide Instagram analytics. TikTok publishing records continue to use the available TikTok post actions.

Can I publish the same video again?

Yes. Each new saved draft or submission creates a separate Planner record and does not overwrite an earlier one.
